You’ll
start by learning the
fundamentals of skin care, facial manipulation and equipment, plant aroma, and
makeup as you study the related sciences of anatomy and histology, along with
state safety and sanitation requirements. This introduction class puts you on
your way to a career in skin care. For the first four weeks, you'll work in group and perform student exchange learning activities. Students will have an opportunity to phase on to the clinic floor for client services. |

Next,
you’ll be able to apply your knowledge
through hands-on clinic training while increasing your understanding in the
classroom. Furthermore, fine tune your skills and gain the expertise you need
to meet the work in a fast pace spa or medispa. Time in Clinic II allows you to become
increasingly confident in your professional abilities. *You will be introduceds to chemical peels, microdermabrasion, eyelash and brow tinting, sugaring, and ETC. Guest speakers are arranged to expose you to other spa product and services to help you gain a better understanding of not only your profession, but what your competitors are servicing as well.
*Student must pass Nuvani's minimum expectation and/or be certify before being able to order chemical products. |

Fine tune your skills as we go in-depth training in client service, time management, self-promotion,
goal-setting, merchandising, floor supervising, and receptionist work. Your
speed, accuracy and concentration are refined and enhanced. Because our Clinic III area is design to be like an
upscale salon environment, you’ll get a feel of what it’s like to be in a
spa salon. This will give you a chance to explore your strengths and weakness. If you wish to become a medical aesthetician, we will provide you the certification requirement information to administer extra benefit services. According to 2005 graduates statistics more than 50% of our aesthecians are currently working under dermatologist. |
